Methodology

Our index aggregates data from multiple liquidity channels to establish a "Mark-to-Market" value:

• Global Auction Results: Real-time data from Christie's, Sotheby's, and Bonhams.
• Wholesale Trade Data: Private transaction records from major gem trading hubs (Bangkok, Jaipur, New York).
• Mining Output Costs: Analysis of extraction costs and supply constraints at the source.

• Investment Grade Corundum: Ruby (Pigeon Blood) and Sapphire (Royal Blue).
